Puerto Nariño

I had the great opportunity to spend more than two weeks at this wonderful place – that I totally fell in love with! Puerto Nariño is a wonderful quiet and peaceful place without cars and without haste. Next to the river you can watch grey and pink dolphins and the most beautiful sunsets. Besides that, there are many great activities to do in and around Puerto Nariño. Within the two weeks I stayed there, I got to do various tours organized by Sebastian: I went to the Lago Tarapoto, did a Caiman Tour at night, went to the Community San Martín de Amacayacu, to Mocagua and the Maikuchiga Monkey Sanctuary, the Sloth Island San Antonio in Peru and I also did some daily and nightly walking tours. All in all, Puerto Nariño is totally worth spending a couple of days (or even weeks!) there and I highly recommend you to go when you´re around. – And when you´re there, Sebastian is probably the best one to help you with great recommendations and everything else you need. Finally, it is also thanks to him that I had such a great time at the Colombian Amazon.

Después de mucho tiempo coordinado una vista a la selva Amazónica me embarqué en la aventura y gracias al Staff de Conexión Amazonas viví una experiencia inolvidable, sobrepasaron mis expectativas de lo que era el Amazonas y su forma de vida. Gracias por estar al pendiente de todo.

We had a great 7 days experience! Sebastian has a deep knowledge of the différents places to sleep, eat and places to see, even the newest and hidden ones. You can follow one of his propositions or ask for a tailor made journey. Prices are much lower than in Leticia, up to 40% less for better quality.

Sebastian from Conexxion Amazonas, located at Ayahuasca Hotel in Puerto Nariño did a great job with organizing the perfect individual itinerary for me. Before I got there I was a little sceptical, if he understands my wish of not getting the standard tourist tour. But I soon realized that he had just planned the perfect time for me. I spend one night in the middle of the primary forest, where we where guided to by an indigenous guide who grew up in the jungle. Despite the fact that we were surrounded by toxic spiders, snakes and frogs, I felt very safe, as the guide was very caring and knowledgeable.
On other days I did he to San Martín, watched dolphins and sloths. Went swimming, explored the area and just learned so much in these days.
Anyone who looks for individual tours should contact them, so make sure you have a great time!

El mejor lugar para estar en el Amazonas, un lugar que te conecta en todos los sentidos. Un lugar que invita a la tranquilidad absoluta, un lugar que invita a ser feliz y estar en contacto con la naturaleza

Das Hotel ist vom Besitzer, der Architekt ist, entworfen worden. Dementsprechend freundlich und einladend wirkt das ganze Hotel aus Holz, das von Planzen und Bäumen eingehüllt ist. Profe Armando ist zudem ein herausragender Künstler. Seine wunderschönen Bilder zieren sämtliche Räume. Er bietet zudem Reisen in eine andere Welt an, in die Welt des Ayahuasca. Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich es nicht probiert. Der weitere Service ist ausgesprochen gut und die Belegschaft sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit.
